Read Socks For Sweaty Feet - What to Wear and What to Avoid more

If you are suffering from a sweaty foot problem, then you are well aware of how this issue causes your socks to become soaked with sweat leaving a very uncomfortable feeling. In social situations you are embarrassed to take off your shoes and when alone your feet just don't feel right being so moist all the time.

Are there any socks for sweaty feet that can help with this problem?

Cotton socks which are the most common to wear will absorb the sweat and hold it in for much longer periods of time. This will cause your feet to remain moist all day. When inside of a shoe, this will cause all sorts of bacteria to grow and cause the unsavory foot odor. Some swear by cotton socks helping the problem, but they aren't as breathable and don't dry as fast as they need to.

Wool socks seem to be a better option than cotton when it comes to wicking away moisture. The issue that wool socks have is that they are much more uncomfortable than cotton socks. They also tend to be a bit warmer and hold in more heat which can cause more sweat. If you do try wool socks for your foot problem, get the thin ones as opposed to the thick ones meant for winter.

There are a variety of synthetic socks made for athletes, specifically runners, that are extremely thin and are made to wick away moisture. These are highly breathable as well. The only issue that you would have with these socks is that they are not meant to be seen in a professional environment, but they will be the most comfortable sock.

Besides socks consider how well the shoes breathe. Sometimes shoes are the cause of the extra moisture and sweat. Also there are insoles specifically made for sweaty feet that can help with the bacteria which makes your feet stick less when you take the shoes off.
